Each card begins with an initial evaluation to assess its overall condition and determine whether it appears likely to meet or exceed the minimum grade selected by the Customer on the submission form. If, during the evaluation, On Deck determines that a card is unlikely to meet the Customer’s selected minimum grade, the card will not proceed to the preparation or submission stage without the Customer’s prior approval.

    Cards that are evaluated but are not authorized by the Customer to proceed to the preparation stage are subject to a $4.00 evaluation/review fee per card. This fee covers the time and labor associated with evaluating the card and providing the Customer with our assessment.

The $4.00 evaluation/review fee is waived for any card that the Customer authorizes to proceed to the preparation stage.

    Upon completion of the evaluation phase, On Deck will contact the Customer, when applicable, to communicate the evaluation results and obtain any required approval before proceeding with preparation services. The Customer remains responsible for all applicable fees associated with grading, authentication, shipping, handling, insurance, taxes, and other third-party or service-related costs.

    Once a card is approved and moved into the preparation stage, On Deck will carefully work to optimize the card’s presentation and condition for submission. Our goal is to prepare each card to the best possible condition within the scope of services requested and to maximize its potential grading outcome.
